- Tenaro / Paliros the southernmost point of continental Europe; a swim in the little inlet to the right of the ruined temple of Poseidon.
- Caves of Diros are one of the most beautiful underground lakes in the world.

How to reach it?
By car from Athens, 300 km, about 3 h ½ to 4 h drive.
By car from Kalamata airport (connected with Athens daily and with some European cities), 110 km, about 2 h drive.
